RESCUE & RESTORE
Every Monday, weather permitting, MRSS members work on greenway care for a couple of hours. Tools, gloves and safety vests provided. We target specific areas monitoring native plants and removing invasive plants and trash. We also monitor the growth of the recently planted perennial, pollinator plants and the sword ferns. They were installed on November 25, 2023. In November 2025 we planted another 100 sword ferns. To participate, become a member of our Society and meet us at 327 Miami River Drive on the back porch at 10 AM. PLEASE NOTE:
1. On March 24, 2026 we are inventory taking not going out to cut blackberries
2. Please contact us about start time in summer months as in hot weather we may start @ 9 AM.
